Climbing Colorado’s 14er’s
About this event
Many of us have skied at high elevations, Zermatt- 12,792 (highest skiable European mountain) and Breckenridge (highest skiable US mountain)-12,840, and have experienced the symptoms high elevation/lack of oxygen can impose on ones body when riding the lift then skiing downhill. But, how bout climbing a 14er? Or all 58 Colorado 14er’s in 3.5 years?
Join us on Thursday, October 15th at 7PM at the Liederkranz to hear our own Captain Dan Fehl, also a United Airlines pilot, present his experiences during his amazing quest to climb all 58 Colorado 14er’s. As Dan states, “One feels like you’re on top of the world with no land above you.”
